SAFETY WARNINGS: SILICONE MAT
POTENTIAL RISKS
- Physical Risks: Minimal; material is flexible and non-toxic.
- Health Risks: No known hazards under normal use. However, prolonged contact with damaged or degraded mats may cause mild skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
- Environmental Risks: Non-biodegradable but generally considered inert and safe for the environment.
- Not safe for kids: Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12. Children aged under 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult when using our products.
FIRST AID MEASURES
- Skin Contact: No harmful effects expected. Wash with soap and water if irritation occurs.
- Eye Contact: Rinse thoroughly with clean water if debris from the mat enters the eye. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Inhalation: Not applicable; no fumes or dust are released under normal conditions.
- Ingestion: Non-toxic, but not intended for consumption. Seek medical advice if ingested.
FIRE SAFETY
- Flammability: Silicone is heat-resistant but may burn at very high temperatures.
- Extinguishing Methods: Use water, foam, CO₂, or dry chemical extinguishers.
- Hazardous Combustion Products: May release small amounts of carbon oxides and silicon oxides when burned.
CLEANUP, STORAGE & DISPOSAL
- Cleanup: Wipe clean with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store flat or rolled in a cool, dry place away from sharp objects that may puncture or tear the mat. Keep away from open flames and extreme heat sources.
- Disposal: Dispose of with regular household waste or recycle where facilities accept silicone materials.
USING IT SAFELY
- Ensure the mat is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface when used for hot wax or other applications.
- Avoid using sharp tools directly on the mat to prevent cuts and tears.
- Keep away from open flames and prolonged direct sunlight to maintain material integrity.
- Clean regularly to prevent buildup of wax, dust, or other residues.

INSTRUCTIONS
This mat is designed to help you create perfect, clean wax seals every time. Follow these simple steps to get started.
What You'll Need:
- Silicone Mat
- Wax Seal Stamps
- Sealing Wax
- Heat source (e.g., wax melting spoon or glue gun)
Instructions:
- Prepare Your Workspace:
- Lay the Silicone Mat flat on a smooth, clean surface. It’s non-slip, so it will stay in place while you work.
- Make sure the surface beneath is clear of debris to prevent any imperfections in your seals.
- Heat Your Sealing Wax:
- Use a wax melting spoon, glue gun, or another wax heating method to melt your sealing wax.
- Melt enough wax to create your seal; usually, a small puddle, around the size of your stamp, is enough.
- Pour the Wax onto the Mat:
- Once the wax is fully melted, pour it onto the desired spot on the Silicone Mat. Aim for a circle, slightly larger than your wax seal stamp to ensure it covers enough area for a full seal.
- Press Your Wax Seal Stamp:
- Quickly press your wax seal stamp into the melted wax. Hold the stamp gently for a few seconds to ensure a crisp, clean imprint.
- Remove the Wax Seal:
- Once the wax has cooled and hardened, gently lift the seal from the mat. The flexible silicone makes it easy to peel off without damaging your design.
- Clean the Mat:
- After use, simply wipe the silicone mat clean with a damp cloth or rinse it with warm water. The wax won't stick permanently, so cleanup is quick and simple.
