SAFETY WARNINGS: SPIRIT BURNER
POTENTIAL RISKS
- Highly flammable when filled with methylated spirits (not included) Important Note – Methylated spirits are NOT included with this product and must be supplied by the customer.
- Burns with an almost invisible flame, increasing risk of accidental contact.
- Vapors can cause dizziness, headaches, or nausea if inhaled in large quantities.
- Skin or eye contact with fuel can cause irritation.
- Improper use may lead to spills, leaks, or fire hazards.
- Not safe for kids: Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12. Children aged under 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult when using our products.
- The spirit burner becomes extremely hot when in use, which may cause burns if touched or moved before it is allowed to cool.
FIRST AID MEASURES
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air immediately. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
- Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice.
- Eye Contact: Rinse thoroughly with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and seek medical help immediately.
- Burns: For a minor burn, run cool water over it for 10–15 minutes, then pat dry and apply aloe vera or a mild lotion. Cover with a sterile bandage or cling film and avoid popping blisters. Seek medical help for severe burns. Avoid using ice, as it can worsen the injury.
FIRE SAFETY
- Always use the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials.
- Keep a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, or sand nearby when in use.
- If a fire occurs:
- Smother small flames with a fire blanket or cover the burner to cut off oxygen.
- Use a dry chemical extinguisher (Class B) for larger fires.
- Never use water to extinguish alcohol-based fires.
- Allow the burner to cool completely before refueling or handling.
CLEANUP, STORAGE & DISPOSAL
- Spill Cleanup: Absorb spills with sand or non-flammable absorbent material. Dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations.
- Storage:
- Store the burner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and moisture. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture as it may degrade the material.
- Keep fuel in a properly labeled, tightly sealed container away from children and pets.
- Disposal:
- Dispose of empty fuel containers in accordance with local hazardous waste guidelines.
- Do not pour fuel down drains or into the environment.
USING IT SAFELY
- Before Use:
- Ensure all components are in good condition with no leaks or cracks.
- Only use methylated spirits or an approved alcohol-based fuel.
- During Use:
- Light the burner using a long match or lighter to maintain a safe distance.
- Never refill the burner while it is hot or still ignited.
- Keep children and pets away from the burner when in use.
- After Use:
- Extinguish by covering the burner with the cap provided or a non-flammable cover.
- Allow the burner to cool fully before handling or storing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Setup:
- Place the spirit burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
- Filling the Burner:
- For the smaller spirit burner, Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove cap. Unscrew clockwise to refill fuel.
- For the large spirit burner, Unscrew anti-clockwise to refill fuel.
- Remove the burner cap and fill the reservoir with a suitable fuel, such as methylated spirits.
- Do not overfill; leave some space to prevent spillage.
- Securely replace the cap after filling.
- Igniting the Burner:
- Use a long-reach lighter or match to ignite the wick.
- Adjust the flame size by turning the wick adjustment knob, if available.
- Extinguishing the Flame:
- After use, extinguish the flame by carefully blowing it out.
- Allow the burner to cool before handling or storing.
