Our bottle dipping wax is perfect for sealing bottles of wine, champagne, rum, whisky or even bottles of perfume, the possibilities are endless.  The sealing wax peels off the bottle without cracking or breaking and can even be stamped with a traditional wax seal stamp while the wax is still warm.

The bottle sealing wax will create an air tight seal on your dipped bottle.

As photographs do not always show a true representation of the colour and monitors do vary in resolution and quality, we suggest samples are ordered prior to purchasing as we are not able to offer refunds on Bottle Sealing wax

Product Specification

Our bottle sealing wax consists of a mixture of hydrocarbon waxes, resins and polymers which are listed under FDA regulations 21 CFR 175.300 suitable substances for use in food coatings.

The bottle wax does not contain, nor comes into contact with during manufacture Bisphenol A or any of the following known allergens: cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, lactose, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphur dioxide, lupin and molluscs.

Recommended Use

It is recommended that minimal stirring is carried out during the melting process. Excessive stirring can cause air bubbles to be trapped.

The working temperature is approx 80-90 deg C, depending on the thickness of coating required.  Avoid overheating the wax; if there is any sign of smoke coming off, then it is clearly too hot.

To obtain a thicker coating, maintain the molten wax at a lower temperature.  To obtain a thinner coating, maintain the wax at a higher temperature.
