SAFETY WARNING - Deluxe Wax Melting Pot with Spirit Burner
POTENTIAL RISKS
- Fire Hazard – The spirit burner uses methylated spirits (not included), which is highly flammable. Open flames can ignite nearby materials. Important Note – Methylated spirits are NOT included with this product and must be supplied by the customer.
- Burns – The melting pot, spoon, and burner get extremely hot during use. Contact with heated surfaces can cause serious burns.
- Fumes & Inhalation – Burning methylated spirits may release fumes. Always use in a well-ventilated area.
- Ingestion & Skin Contact – Methylated spirits are toxic if swallowed and can irritate skin and eyes.
- Not safe for kids – Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12, Children aged under 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult when using our products.
FIRST AID MEASURES
- Burns – For a minor burn, run cool water over it for 10–15 minutes, then pat dry and apply aloe vera or a mild lotion. Cover with a sterile bandage or cling film and avoid popping blisters. Seek medical help for severe burns. Avoid using ice, as it can worsen the injury.
- Eye Contact – If fuel or fumes cause eye irritation, rinse with clean water for several minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Inhalation – Move to fresh air if fumes cause dizziness or breathing issues. Seek medical attention if symptoms continue.
- Ingestion – Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and seek medical attention immediately.
- Skin Contact – Wash affected area with soap and water.
FIRE SAFETY
- Keep flammable materials (paper, cloth, alcohol, etc.) away from the burner.
- Always use the burner on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
- If a small fire occurs use alcohol-resistant foam and protective equipment
- If a Larger Fire – Evacuate the area and call emergency services
- Suitable Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, CO2, foam; do NOT use water on burning alcohol.
CLEANUP, STORAGE & DISPOSAL
Cleanup: If fuel spills, absorb with sand, baking soda, or a cloth and dispose of properly. Wash hands after handling.
Storage:
- Store methylated spirits in a cool, dry place, away from flames and direct sunlight. Keep tightly sealed.
- Store all elements of the deluxe melting pot in a cool, dry place away from moisture and ignition sources. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture as it may degrade the material.
Disposal: Dispose of unused fuel at a hazardous waste facility. Do not pour down drains or into the environment.
USING IT SAFELY
- Always use in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not overfill the burner.
- Never leave the burner unattended while in use.
- Extinguish the flame completely before refueling.
- Allow all components to cool fully before touching or storing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Assembly Instructions
Assemble the Stand:
- Take the wooden plate with a hole in the center.
- Screw each of the three brass legs into the pre-drilled holes.
Attach the Base:
- Place the solid wooden base beneath the stand.
- Insert the screws from the bottom, through the pre-drilled holes and fasten them into the brass legs.
Apply Felt Padding:
- Peel the backing off the self-adhesive felt.
- Stick the felt to the bottom of the assembled stand to prevent surface damage.
Position Components:
- Place the brass melting bowl into the hole of the top wooden plate.
- Insert the spirit burner into the recess of the solid wooden base plate.
How to Use
Filling the Spirit Burner:
- Unscrew the large bottom section of the spirit burner from the top section.
- Use a small syringe or pour carefully to fill the bottom compartment with methylated spirits (not included).
- Screw the top section back on securely.
- Allow time for the fuel to soak into the fabric wick before lighting.
Melting the Wax:
- Carefully place the spirit burner into the recess of the melting pot stand.
- Light the fabric wick of the spirit burner using a match or lighter.
- Add wax beads, sticks or blocks into the brass melting bowl.
- Wait for the wax to fully melt, stirring occasionally with the spoon.
Using the Melted Wax:
- Once melted, use the wax spoon to scoop wax from the bowl.
- Pour or drizzle the wax onto the desired surface (e.g., bottle tops, envelopes, paper).
- Press your wax stamp (not included) into the hot wax to create an impression.
Extinguishing & Cleaning
- To extinguish: Place the cap over the spirit burner flame.
- Cooling: Allow the pot and stand to cool before handling.
- Cleaning: Wipe the pot and spoon with a paper towel while warm to remove excess wax.
