POTENTIAL RISKS

  • Hot wax can burn your skin – Be careful when handling!
  • Fumes may cause slight irritation – Use in a ventilated space.
  • Not safe for kids – Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12, Children aged under 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult when using our products.

FIRST AID MEASURES

  • Burns: For a minor burn, run cool water over it for 10–15 minutes, then pat dry and apply aloe vera or a mild lotion. Cover with a sterile bandage or cling film and avoid popping blisters. Seek medical help for severe burns. Avoid using ice, as it can worsen the injury
  • Eye Contact: Rinse with lukewarm water for several minutes. See a doctor if needed.
  • Inhalation:  The wax is too hot, turn the temperature down or off and step outside for fresh air.
  • Ingestion: Don’t make yourself vomit. Seek medical help.

FIRE SAFETY

  • What to use if it catches fire? CO2, dry chemical, or foam extinguisher.
  • What NOT to use? Water on hot wax—it can splatter!
  • Firefighters’ advice: Overheated wax can release flammable fumes.

CLEANUP, STORAGE & DISPOSAL

  • Spills? Let the wax cool and harden before cleaning.
  • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flames.
  • Disposal: Do not pour hot wax down the drain. Once cooled and solidified, dispose of it in general waste. If disposing of large amounts, consider taking it to a waste recycling facility that accepts wax-based products.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Materials Needed:

  • 100g Sealing Wax Block
  • Wax Melting Spoon or Wax Melting Pot
  • Heat Source (Candle, Tea Light, or Electric Melter)
  • Wax Seal Stamp (Optional)
  • Non-Stick Surface (e.g., Silicone Mat or Parchment Paper)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Workspace
  • Work on a heat-resistant and non-stick surface.
  • Have your wax stamp ready if using one.
  1. Melt the Wax
  • Using a Wax Melting Pot:
    • Place small chunks of the wax block into the pot.
    • Heat gently until the wax reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.
  • Using a Spoon:
    • Cut off a small piece of wax from the block.
    • Place it in a wax melting spoon.
    • Hold the spoon over a candle or tea light until the wax is fully melted.
    • Carefully pour the melted wax onto your desired surface (envelope, paper, or another project).
    • Aim for a circular or oval shape for best results.

  1. Stamp the Wax (Optional)
  • Press the stamp firmly into the wax.
  • Hold for 10–15 seconds, then gently lift the stamp.

  • Allow the wax to fully cool and harden before handling.

Additional Tips:

✔ For a smooth finish, slightly chill your stamp before use.
✔ To create a marbled effect, mix small amounts of different wax colours in the spoon.
✔ To remove excess wax from the spoon, wipe it with a paper towel while warm.
