Peel and Sticks - Self Adhesive Wax Seals

POTENTIAL RISKS

  • Minimal risk under normal use.
  • Choking hazard if swallowed – keep away from small children.
  • Slipping hazard if dropped on smooth surfaces.
  • If the wax is melted, it will be hot and may cause burns upon contact with skin; however, melting the wax is not a typical use for this product.
  • Not safe for kids: Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12, Children aged under 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult when using our products.

FIRST AID MEASURES

  • Inhalation: Not applicable under normal use.
  • Skin Contact: No known risks. If irritation occurs due to adhesive, wash with soap and water.
  • Eye Contact: If adhesive contacts the eye, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
  • Ingestion: Not intended for consumption. If swallowed, seek medical attention if discomfort occurs.
  • Burns: For a minor burn, run cool water over it for 10–15 minutes, then pat dry and apply aloe vera or a mild lotion. Cover with a sterile bandage or cling film and avoid popping blisters. Seek medical help for severe burns. Avoid using ice, as it can worsen the injury

FIRE SAFETY

  • Product is non-flammable under normal conditions.
  • If exposed to high heat, wax may become combustible.
  • Use dry chemical, foam, COâ‚‚, or water spray to extinguish fires involving wax.

CLEANUP, STORAGE & DISPOSAL

  • Cleanup: If dropped, pick up and dispose of properly. If adhesive side collects dust or debris, it may not stick properly.
  • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to maintain the wax design and adhesive quality.
  • Disposal: Dispose of in general waste. Wax and adhesive are not considered hazardous.

USING IT SAFELY

  • Peel the paper backing to reveal the adhesive and press firmly onto the desired surface.
  • Ensure the surface is clean and dry for best adhesion.
  • Keep out of reach of small children and pets.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

How to Use Pre-Made Wax Seals

  1. Prepare the Surface
    • Ensure the area where you will place the wax seal is clean and dry.
    • If using on envelopes, apply after sealing the envelope for the best hold.
  2. Apply to Your Surface
    • Gently peel off the protective paper layer on the back of the wax impression to expose the sticky side.
    • Carefully position the wax seal in the desired location.
    • Press down firmly for a few seconds to ensure strong adhesion.
  3. Final Check
    • Give the seal time to adhere fully before handling or mailing. 
    • If applying to curved surfaces (e.g., bottle necks), slightly bend the wax impression before applying, then hold it in place for a few extra seconds to help it conform.

Storage & Handling Tips:

  • Keep wax seals in a cool, dry place to prevent warping.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat, as wax may soften and discolour.
  • Handle with clean, dry hands to avoid fingerprints or smudging on the adhesive.
